This safari lodge is located next to a small stream, in the heart of the Madikwe Game Reserve Guests will find it an oasis of calm and serenity set in the arid African bush The lodges offer two very unique experiences, catering to both families wishing to reconnect in a peaceful setting, and couples looking for a more romantic bush experience Established in 2000, the lodges feature eight rooms The lodges provide both luxury and comfort, as well as a games room for children, which allows busy parents some time to themselves The lodge offers luxurious rooms, each of which has a large mosaic bath and an outdoor shower The rooms also feature a private deck, from which guests can watch warthogs rolling in the mud, or tree squirrels darting through the foliage All rooms are equipped with under-floor heating and fireplaces, to ensure that guests are comfortable during the chilly winter months They also feature air conditioning and a ceiling fan to keep the rooms cool on hot summer days With thatched roofs, low stone walls and canvas panels which can be rolled up, the lodges really let the outside in, making for a unique African Bushveld experience, which guests can experience from the luxury and comfort of their own rooms With table tennis, football, a pool table, and a wide selection of board games, the games room is sure to keep even the most active children entertained for hours At the newly established Masala Spa, guests can allow themselves to be pampered by Kate, a trained beauty and massage therapist The spa currently offers full-body and Indian head massages, as well as back and shoulder treatments and foot massages Guests can also work out in the gym, to which a play area for children is attached
